Thirty cards are dealt into ten piles of three with two cards face down and the top card face up. The remaining cards in the deck form the stock.
Play
Turn up cards from the stock one at a time and place them face up in the wastepile. The top card of the wastepile is always available for play on the tableau or the foundations. Build down in alternating colors. The top card of a pile or all face up cards in correct sequence may be moved to build upon the top card of another pile or to fill a space. Move aces as they become available to the foundation spaces above the tableau. Build the foundations up by suit to the kings.
Notes
Westcliff is probably the easiest of this group of games. If you can't win this one more than you lose then I wouldn't recommend trying any of the other games.
